"The tie was probably repurposed to tie up a tomato or something."

NOT! That's "my tie", my one and only tie, and it hangs on the wall in my shoffice, still in excellent condition. Recently some friends laughed when we were discussing a local thrift shop and how inexpensive the clothes were. One guy mentioned shirts for a quarter up to a dollar, coats for five bucks, pants for a dollar, ties fifty cents. I mentioned I could use a new shirt but "I already have a tie". They laughed at "A tie", just one. They all said they had oodles of them. Oh well, I bet they aren't as proud of their ties as I am of mine!

As for it being ugly...hmmm, I'll show you! I'm gonna wear that tie next time I dress up, maybe when I go to uhh, uhh, well, someplace I need to wear a tie. Not sure where I'd wear it to, but I'll take pics.

Shoe (thinking "hmmm, maybe I could dress up on Halloween, that counts, doesn't it?)
