Hey Woofie ...yes, baying at the moon helps when there is not gardening to be done. I've been out for the last 2 days though prepping ground for a wonderful shipment of plants from Santa Rosa. They had a terrific sale on perennials and I overloaded on various types of Gaillardia, Cardinal flower, and Coreopsis. What a well put together shipment! I'm very pleased.

I wanted to get them in today and worked on it some but it started raining early afternoon and that is expected to continue into mid-day tomorrow. That's okay because it has been so dry that I watered almost all day yesterday while getting compost ready and prepping ground, just to get the spade in there and turn it. I did some and by this morning the ground was drying out again.

I am just hoping we get another month or so of warm weather and sun so that they can establish for next year. I am also still expecting about 260 spring and summer bulbs and some daylilies. They should arrive this week. By the time the leaves fall I should have toned arms and shoulders again. Then a month later I will plop on the couch with some bon-bons. Hilarious!
