Just yesterday I was down at the bottom half of our driveway staking up the tall goldenrod stalks that were arching down into the driveway. I waited for a bee to finish on a fat yellow flower spike, and put my nose on it and inhaled--what a sweet scent!
Unfortunately, we have plenty of ragweed, too. I'd like to cut it down, but if it feeds the birds...
