That's awesome, Signet, TY for the interesting addition. If it's feeding the pigs, it's a valuable plant, IMO!

You're right, the blooms of P. oleracea are very small, and may be open for only a few hours mid-morning, depending on the weather. I also always refer to the pretty kind, P. umbraticola as ornamental purslane when not just using the botanical epithet because I also can't just call that other plant, that is so different and pretty, just "purslane."

Vic, no doubt, there are people starving on this planet while perfectly good purslane plants are, literally, growing like weeds. ;)
