Par for the course was usually the day before we had to go pick stuff up I was sweeping away up there.............blech! So, now I am all done and ready and who knows when there will be a killing frost. Not this week or next, as far as I've seen the extended forecast. It will be almost like a vacation when I can take in plants and not have to arrange it around milking and chores. Ah, I LOVE this life after cows. Last Sat. I took my grands with me in the Mini to the drag strip to see their Uncle Jason run his bike. Grampa rode his bike down...........DS#2, the grands' dad, had to work, so I just packed them up and away we went. We also went to the grocery store and bought goodies for a picnic lunch. they love to help Gramma shop.
