Yes, Bill, spray those buying shoes with fire retardant.

Ursula, lovely start to the new month, especially the Gongora.

Prabhi, lovely bloom, whatever its name.

I went to church this morning to accept delivery of 12 trees and began to plant them when I received a call from the Extension Office. It seemed the local ABC affiliate wanted to do a story on turf grass and I am the turf grass guy. I am also the orchid guy, the palm guy, the cycad guy, the tropical fruit guy and so on. Anyway, they wanted to send a reporter and camera man to my house to interview me and get tips on lawn care for this time of year. The problem was they wanted to come today at one-thirty in the afternoon and I was knee deep in a hole at church, sweating like a pig. That gave me three hours of prep time minus the twenty minute drive home. Well, I made it happen. They were here for over an hour and it will air on our local ABC news next Tuesday morning at 6:00 and again at 9:00. Yes, I managed to fit a shower in.
