Interesting.

The patent descriptions named are for 'Charlotte's Blush', not 'Monarch Promise'. If they are the same cultivar is Monarch Promise a trade mark?

A real treat to get such information so directly, EdithEllen.

Did 'Monarch Promise' arise as a branch mutations on a single plant, which was subsequently propagated vegetatively? If not, what confirms the cultivar is certainly of mutational origin?

Was all propagation for the test year by vegetative means?
