I learned a long, long, long time ago the bad part of humanity is as normal as the good side.

For me it is not unexpected , therefore; while I do not embrace it, it does not bother me in any real way.
Now this is partly due to a sibling being among the bad side but also because if you are accepted by those on the bad side they are more loyal than all the forked -tongue goodies who will stab you in the back quite quickly.
