18 yr old in my subtropical garden!
I agree BWW is a very nice Hem, great substance. I acquired it in mid May this year and put it in a large pot. It bloomed 3 months later.
We had av max temps in Jun, Jul, Aug that were 4 deg F above the long term average. Australia wide it was the warmest winter on record. We had wind and sun and very little rain, so in the last month I watered the pot early every day. But I wonder if it, like some others I acquired this year, bloomed early because it came from places where they probably had a few frosts before they were sent to me. They were also probably fertilised correctly.
