I know this would be a tradeoff between clutter and how easy it is to discover soemthing the first time, but ...
...
it just took me a while to discover the preferred way to submit a question or suggestion about suspect information. I had to search forum threads.
Would it be worthwhile adding a comment to some page in the Plant database?
Or making it a "did you know?" tip every few months?
"To suggest a correction or new data for the plant database,
click on "Edit" next to the data. Your changes will be reviewed by a moderator."
P.S.
The only way I found to "edit" a suspect picture was to add a comment, and send a tree-mail to the author of the photo.
This photo seems to be of a tree in winter, not a Penstemon:
Small's beardtongue (Penstemon smallii)
