Ginger Ice makes a good pod parent, but I haven't had much luck getting it to work as a pollen parent.

Liz, are you going to start your seeds outside? You might want to put them in pots at first. The first year I tried planting them outside in the garden, but dealing with the weeds I think disturbed them too much, and none germinated. The second year I potted them and left them outside, and I got about 3 seeds that grew. I've had much better luck potting them in the winter and leaving them in the house to start growing. Of course I don't start a 1000 at a time. Smiling Smiling I know Brad starts 1000's of seeds each year, but he uses a green house to start them.
Politicians are like diapers, they need to be changed often, and for the same reason.
