Okay, I see what Sue's talking about now. The other rose actually has the cherry-red in a well-defined band on the edge, whereas on mine the colors just fade into each other.
And you're right too, Porkpal, mine doesn't appear to have any yellow. I thought it was the addition of sunlight that made his rose look yellow, but mine probably wouldn't do that even if the sun were shining through it.
