Hi Ya'll,

Thanks so much for your prayers and encouragements.
We made it back last Saturday after we got the OK that the water system was up and running and I-10 E was opened.

My friends here had to get rain water for the toilets and drinking water was trucked in. Our church is the staging area for recovery workers - so many workers from all over the country, FDNY, Team Rubicon and even out of country, a group from Israel; our Baptist Men brought in a portable kitchen that can feed them. The Red Cross is delivering food to people and I will be helping them next week.

The irises are all good like ya'll said. They are showing new green leaves. Hurray!
