Actually, it gets used quite a bit recently... my 13 year old kitty cat is in stage 2 kidney failure (because of a run-in with an Easter Lily when she was two years old. A week on dialysis! 
). Anyway, I have a litter box (sans litter) and her water bowl in the bottom of the bathtub (its a really BIG tub - with a HUGE south facing window). Hubby might have cat-fits but he will (eventually) put a hook in. (what a guy! )
