October will usher in our first frost..............I hope it isn't in the next week because I don't have any plants moved to the greenhouse. Yuck. :>)

Farmers are in the field here..........the soybeans are being combined and the many acres of corn will be next. The last couple of weeks has seen corn silage being chopped and either put into silos, trench silos, or silo bags. It's been a busy time, and the weather has been beautiful for it.

We had a bit of a rainshower this morning; it is quite dry here and a nice soaker would do the ground good, but I don't think anyone really wants that right now.

What's going on in everyone else's corner of the world?
