My husband put it together from parts. All I do is keep watch on it and let him know when something is wrong with it. I like it because it's flexible. I move plants and pots around a lot, so we just plug up the emitter when we move the pot, and unplug it when something else needs water in the same place.
If you don't have a lot of local sources, I've ordered from Dripworks.com and they have everything anyone could ever need.
