I was able to buy this Guzmania Bromeliad early this year, and it was actively sending out pups. As the season changed from Spring to Summer, it gradually started to die off. I thought it maybe just the mother plant giving way to the pups. I was away for about 2.5 months and left it to my hubby's care, sort of, and sadly, it turned all totally brown, and dead. I brought it outdoors this time near the fountain and some shade, don't know if it will ever come back...has anyone ever grown this type of Bromeliad?
