Well, this is nearly two years since the last post, but I am in the MidWest (Kansas) and this is how I start seeds when the weather outside isn't favorable.

In the Spring I can transplant the seedlings outside when the weather is suitable. In the Winter I can just grow my garden indoors under the lights. I am setting up now for a Winter crop of zinnias. I grow and breed zinnias as a hobby.
