UrbanWild said:Has anyone ever grown Russelia equisetiformis (firecracker plant)? I have 3 for the last few months in 1 gallon pots. Doing ok...just not explosive growth. I realize that in my area it is considered an annual. I hope to overwinter. Any tips for growing, overwintering, getting them to thrive?

To bloom well it needs to mature which involve keeping it evergreen a few degrees above freezing. If you can do that it's well worth the effort. Here's the one at Oxfords Botanic Gardens.............
