@Calif_Sue if this is in the wrong area, please move me . . . Smiling

Quoting a whole large previous post takes up data transfer and data space with the host (money). Perhaps this information is under Trish's pages, but I apologize I didn't take time to look, and then please let me know and if possible we can delete this thread entirely.

For those users at NGA who are new or just entering into the intermediate group.

When you choose the selection "quote" under the individual's post to whom you are quoting, you will come to the edit page where you scroll down and begin typing what you want to say before or after that entire quote.

When you see something like this [ quote="Teresa" ] , at the beginning of the quote, this is where the quote started. When you see something like this [ /quote="Teresa" ] , at the end of the quote, this is where the quote ends.

You can delete out anything between those two symbols, but do NOT delete out the symbols or brackets or you will lose the form of the quote.

Also, by so doing, you will give the readers of your post a better understanding of exactly which portion of the quote you are speaking.

. . . it's always better to ask questions, than jump to conclusions.
AND . . . always hear both sides of the story before making a judgment.
