The cutting was from momma. It just mutated slowly over a period of two years. I have to say though, the photographer didn't (me) didn't get a very good shot in photo #2 above. Anyway, I didn't keep a cutting of it this year. Maybe I'll buy a new one next year.

Another oddball that I have is Tilt-a-Whirl. The one I got last year doesn't even resemble other photos I see of it. I'm pretty sure I bought it from RD last year, (but maybe not) and I wonder if they sent me a wrong plant? This is it last year- to the right of Stormy Weather.

It developed a sport last summer- one red stem- and I kept a cutting of it too. Fast forward to this year. Here you can see the red sport in the dead center of the picture.
That red sport has become my biggest, strongest, brightest, favorite coleus, over 36" tall.

Here you see the big red sport dwarfing Momma, which is half it's size, to the right and front of it.
