That type is tropical pitcher plant from India they need very strong light. If you can't give it enough sunlight in Idaho over the winter buy the largest LED full spectrum plant light bulb you can get on Amazon and hang it 8 inches above it. I should know I also bought one from Amazon and they do poorly unless given 15 to 17 hours of very strong light per day.
