Well I am no expert but since no one answered, I will do so. I have propagated daphne, I cannot remember what time of year it was. I do remember I used sand and perlite and they did root. I would say try it and the worst that can happen is it will not root. I was told later that daphne was hard to strike cuttings with but I did it before I heard that and did not find it difficult.

Try it, nothing to lose but a bit of time.
