80°f and 80% humidity. I was off at a store i don't usually go to because the expat gossip mill said split peas had been seen there. I love split pea soup but never see them down here, I've had friends mule them in the last few times I've made soup. Anyway, it was true and I got 2 bags and then headed out to the parking lot. I couldn't find my car, I hit the emergency siren and couldn't hear it probably because it was POURING rain. I was soaked. I thought I parked by the entrance but then I realized there are 2 entrances so it was a long walk, kept hitting the emergency siren and finally one of the box boys heard it and pointed for me. Jeez. I've got to start keeping track of the aisle number at these huge parking lots.
A day without sunshine is like, you know, night.
