This thread seems to be winding down, and I understand. For those of you living up north who no longer have butterflies, don't be jealous ( @McCannon ). Next summer when the temperature here hits triple digits long enough to soften the asphalt driveway, I'M the one who will be envious. This short period of time in the fall is our "sweet spot" in central Texas. That being said, I believe I have inundated you with enough photos of the usual suspects. Plus the flowers are starting to look like they're past their expiration date. But it has been a banner year for Monarchs, which was wonderful. So, unless something truly special comes along, I'm going to cease and desist with the butterfly photos.....until next spring.
