Trish, it's odd that we're in the same zone but such different climates. We haven't seen the 90s in a month, and right now highs are in the 60s (brrrrr).

I'm harvesting carrots and peppers still from the summer garden, and green beans, turnips, broccoli, kohlrabi, green onions, herbs, and greens (collards, kale, chard, and leaves from the other Brassicas) from the fall/winter garden. I would probably still have some tomatoes and eggplants, but the plants got so badly battered by Irene that I pulled them out.
