Thank you for your kind words, Leon. The light was a little flat that day, but wow were the trees glorious. Was a beautiful fall in the rockies.

I'm often reluctant to post or even shoot anything that has buildings or roads or power poles or anything "intrusive". And I've been thinking a lot about that self-imposed prohibition. I'm slowly coming to a point that the intrusions might be part of it, too. And have realized that some of my favorite "old" photographs have some kind of temporal marker in the.

By that I mean, a 2014 car in the driveway (in a garden shot) might be annoying today while a 1951 Chevey in the driveway, seen today, might be incredibly interesting. Akin to adding a scale to a macro shot - but not quite.

I digress. But I often do... ;)
