Frostweed does its thang when the freeze is fast enough and deep enough to split the stalk. Love the pictures. Northern neighbors only like snow to play in- they dont like the shoveling. Of course, instead of pushin mowers down the block to earn money, the kids carry their snow shovels and look for houses that need walks cleaned.
I used roasting a hen and vegs as an excuse to stay inside all day. Pets didnt want out nearly as often!
