Kat is right - Northerners only like snow to play in (but gardeners like the deep freeze in winter to kill off pests) - we sure don't miss having to get up at o dark:thirty to start the tractor and cars and then spend an hour plowing/shoveling. I certainly won't miss that. There is a certain beauty to Northern snow though - as long as you're warm and toasty inside.

Snow is still on the ground here in 9a - unbelievable! But the sun is out and I expect temps will quickly melt what's left. Bread and soup here today.
