It is always fun to see things blooming this time of year. I agree, those are beautiful bloomers.

Has anyone checked their plants to see what survived the freeze?

The freeze/snow finally made me pull the last of the peppers, okra and basil.

I just planted two types of small romaine lettuce in that half of the raised bed. Lettuce grows so well in the winter here.

I also learned something this year. I started the lettuce seed twice and got terrible germination. When it turned cold they began to sprout. I later read that one can force lettuce to germinate by refrigerating the seed.

Never to late to learn and always amazed when I watch nature. Whistling

Hope everyone has a good week ahead.
