I think I've seen "somewhere" a description of how to make your own mosquito traps that use CO2 as the attractant... as I recall, they involve the use of yeast. I'm fairly sure that the propane "mosquito magnets" operate on the same principle of producing CO2 to attract the mosquitoes. I'll see if I can find it again and post a link.
