I used to start getting ready for school the last week of July. Our school starts early here, gets out early as well. But I remember the feeling that last week of July just getting ready to start school.
Now, it's the feeling I get the last week of September, putting an end to summer. It's a little sad, you know? Even hot and dry as it was, it's sad to see another summer go by.
But painting gets me through winter, too, so I might as well start now.
