I abandoned my own experiment with the Aerogarden yesterday. After 5 weeks, there was no sign of rooting. Granted, I was trying to root something that I'm not even sure is possible to root (Ashe Juniper aka Mountain Cedar). I think I'll stick to plain old coarse sand or peat/perlite.
