The behavior of yours sounds similar to mine. I have a tiny stem of the spotted one that, at the rate it is growing, will be enough mass to really be noticeable in about... 10 more yrs? LOL!

Maybe some attention should be given to sort the pics into their respective cultivar entries, if others also think a couple of those pics in the entry I pasted look like the other cultivar, or the species entry if the cultivar is not readily apparent?
