I remember one year Grampa wanted me o paint his house. 2 and a half stories. he had this old wooden extension ladder. Funniest thing...when you got halfways up that ladder it twisted around so's you were facing away from the house, then straightened back up as you got nearer the top. The first time it did that to me I thought for sure I was ground-bound, and that Mom was gonna have a heart attack. Once I got used to it though it wasn't bad at all.

hehehe...Grampa was ...um...frugal Big Grin and Mom found out he was mixing that paint half thinner...it all washed off from the rain within a year.
