I own this movie. I have a son that is mentally retarded and has autism. I can really relate to his character of having the responsibility of his brother and yet wanting to break free and live his own life. Sadly, it really is like that for many caregivers. I think Leonardo Dicaprio won an award for his acting as 'Arnie' if I remember right. I watch it every once in a while. The part where they are chasing Arnie around and cannot get him to take a bath
JUST like my son, and the part where he gets into the birthday and makes a mess of it, That is my Aaron to a 'T'.
