Charcoal is a cutie!
Yes, their hair continues to grow. Regular brushing, usually once a week, keeps it from matting, but as they shed, the hair doesn't fall out like with some breeds, it needs to be brushed out or it will matt. It seems like their coats reach a certain length and don't grow much more, but between breaking ends off running in the yard and picking up sticks and leaves, and shedding, it never gets much longer than in any of the pictures I posted. I know of some people who keep the coats wrapped to grow more, but my guys might be show dogs, but they're pets first.
