That is a lovely tree, you know how much I love them, Nora. Well you've caught my particular weakness; as a practicing biologist we shorten the Binomial to a four letter synonym for the genus, and a three letter syn for spp., and where the variety is known, we scribble it in the margin. There are very few plants that cannot be accurately identified using this handy short form, ( time is of the essence after all) but the unfortunate consequence of this is, after 42 years, I can't remember what the correct spelling is for quite a few plants, esp the agronomics and Horticultural ones past the first syllable. I often make these mistakes, and I have even some electronic aids to catch my bads, before publication... hooray, no longer in use. And, as you know, after facing down the indignant and judgemental wrath of botanical editors.... I no longer care! :). Tomorrow, I will start the Es and ingredient where like D, the list is somewhat short. But I'm sure you are all up to the challenge.
