Here it is...there is hay around the lower part of the shrub. It doesnt LOOK hot, and it is certainly not attractive, but its warmer in there by anywhere from 5 to 15 degrees depending on the outside conditions. Its temporary, we take it down in early early spring. That is very heavy grade plastic. This year we made the roof slanted because the snow caved in the roof last year. When it was 27 below, Celsius, I put a seed starting mat in the back upgainst the fence. Its not pretty but I am sure I would have lost this shrub, which is too big for me to move around in a pot, I think. I can see the buds are still ok, so far so good.
