A winter recap:
3 weeks ago we started off with a day of sleet switching to a dusting of snow. Since then it's been bone chilling cold dropping into the 20 plummitting into single digits every morning. The coldest/lowest we got was 8°f three times in a row with windchills of 3°f and highs of 18-27°f. The kicker was no rain or insulation of snow on the plants, a silent drought. Yesterday was the start of false spring weather as we finally jumped to 34°f AND rain. Today well reach upper 40's and more rain. By Friday we're project for close to 70° weather
with raining leading into it. Temps luke like they'll stay above freezing and a good streak of 50's. I'm not buying it as mother nature can hit us with Another "snow bomb"(whatever they cslled the system that just froze the east coast) system and zap the new growth. It haopened last uear so im holding my breath. We're not into February Yet, so it's possible
