sorry to hear of your damages rob, and others i am crossing my fingers that the swinging temps and rain and sleet condition do not wreak havoc on your gardens.
i spent a sleepless night with the wind and rain gusting against the bedroom wall. i guess we got a fair amount by the empty bowl that serves as a fountain.
towards the end of summer, i let the bowl dry because of the algae, and i've been meaning to clean it out, but never got a 'roundtoit'.
now there's about 1 1/2" of rainwater standing in the muck...so today's chore is to clean out the bowl between raindrops. (more rain is expected today.)
