Outside (In 2005, I started growing Euonymus 'Manhattan' along the busy road next to my home to provide a fast-growing evergreen screen, and I have been very pleased with it.):
I have found Golden Euonymus to be very puzzling. Here it is looking nice next to the road in the midst of winter; however, in the back yard--no photo--it burns every winter!):
