Sally, you've got your hands full and then some. We'll miss you -- and we'll have to find another way to get together soon. I had lunch with Terri today and she's full of spring road trip ideas!

And yes, we had lunch at Chef Lin, so I can confirm the availability of "our" back room for that date! We'll do our usual thing, gathering around noon to put our stuff down in back, grab name tags, and mill around for a bit... then we'll spend an hour or so eating lunch in the back of the restaurant. (They've generously allowed our group to use both spaces the past several years -- much easier than when we tried to rearrange seats & tables after eating!)

I put 4:30 on the note so we have time to get things finished up... the party generally breaks up around 4, but that's not a firm time. If somebody needs the room for a dinner party, Donna will let me know and we'll be out promptly, otherwise we can linger.

A "newbie" took my note about reserving the room and was all set to lead the two of us back there to show us the space etc. -- Terri and I laughed and said we were very familiar with the facilities!

I recommend the Turbot if they have it that day... new(ish) buffet item, a large mild-flavored fish that's well worth the effort of pulling off its bones. The bones are big, so you don't need to worry about swallowing one by mistake, either.

Terri had some of their steamed shrimp and remarked on how tasty they are.
We're all learners, doers, teachers.
