When I didn't have a garden I loved to have flowers in the house. But then my entire yard became a garden & windows everywhere so you can see the garden from any point at any time. And that's when I quit having cut flowers in the house. I've never been fond of cutting the flowers & shortening their lives so this works for me. There are so many flowers blooming in the yard year round that it's like having them all inside the house.
The only exceptions to the "rule" of not bringing flowers in are when a bloom gets knocked off or broken so I will bring it in & enjoy the remainder of it's life. And when my one true love brings me boquets of wildflowers which he has picked to surprise me with which he does fairly often. Lovey dubby
I am a strong believer in the simple fact is that what matters in this life is how we treat others. I think that's what living is all about. Not what I've done in my life but how I've treated others. ~~ Sharon Brown
