Tending a patch of earth in Seattle
Brand new here. I have all kinds of herb books, mostly american, but also from Spain and England. I've learned that the only way to learn how to use them is experiment on yourself. For headaches I use tincture of willow. For painful inflammation I use tincture of black cohosh. I have gout, so I have painful inflammation. I recommend caution with black cohosh, for my body anyway it's a strong sedative. I agree with prior posts: Mountain Rose Herbs is a good source of herbs.
