The Gloriosa vines are turning brown now. I quit watering daily a couple of weeks ago. I usually leave them thusly until the first forecast of frost. At that point, the pots are moved into the garage. When pots dry, I remove the expired vines and move the pots into the basement. Once there I'll let them sit, dry, until next spring when I depot and repot.
Nothing that's been done can ever be changed.
