Like Sharon, I use Witch Hazel on my face at least twice a day. Committed regimen.

I didn't know about it working on bruises, skin abrasion. I've always used fresh aloe sliced and squished onto the bites etc. Seems to work for me though I've heard it's not effective for everyone, every scenario.

But, THANKS for the tip. I ALWAYS have Witch Hazel on hand. Walgreens has some good values on the bottles every now and then.
