My plumeria plant snapped a limb off during this past hurricane.I took it and stuck it in a pot and it's still nice and green and has rooted cause I tested it.But my main plant got hit with the freeze this year and I noticed two of my tips we're mush and wrinkled and oozing brown stuff.well I'm hoping I did the right thing.I trimmed both back about two inches.thumb size.let wax drip over the tips to hopefully seal them.as best I could. Now I just have to cross my fingers it grows.its alive the root stem is health and nice and hard and when I scratch the surface it's nice and green underneath.Ive been growing mine for eight years.only have three tips.had four but one snapped.this past year was it's first inflo bloom it was so beautiful and smelled Beautiful.I have the yellow.Im gonna order some different colors.I love this plant must be very patient I guess.lot of years invested hope it survives and grows more stems.plzz tell me I did the right thing😢🙏
