I have grown and loved this plant for many years in Zone 2-3. It's always healthy, with good foliage. Blooms for a very long season, although the earlier blooms are not as nice, and more peachy. It's also almost the last one to bloom here. It seems to like some shelter from the hot afternoon sun, where the blooms seem richer. It increases well, and is easy to divide
