I haven't had inside plants for years. I used to bring mine in every winter. Then forget to water them. I finally learned to just leave them outside and let God do the watering. Whatever survives is stronger for it! Each year I am amazed at how much comes back. Of course, it's rare for it to snow here and we only get about 4-5 (used to be only 3-4) really cold days of winter time. The rest of the time we're just complaining about it's too hot or it's too cold. Seems like we're never happy about the temperature. *Blush*

I loved reading about the surprises you've found. Even though my plants are outside, I do the same thing all the time. Just go around and "fondle" them. Well that didn't sound too good, but I definitely get to know them well enough to notice when a new bud is forming. Spring is an awesome time to get your macro camera out there and get some experience. :-)
